Dear Fire Fighter Friends & Family:

Recently,  a friend of Joanne and mine was diagnosed with ALS (aka Lou Gehrig’s disease). It’s a terminal disease that slowly…or rapidly sometimes…shuts down the nervous system and all the body functions. Carolyn Bennett has had a full and vibrant life of teaching, helping out various charities such as Habitat For Humanity, The Ottawa Mission, and The Ottawa Snowsuit Fund to name a few, and caring for family and grandchildren. She’s the epitome of all that is good in the Community and any donation will help Carolyn and ALS Canada put an end to this debilitating disease.

I’ve always been involved in charity work (3 years as Chair of the Help Santa Toy Parade raising more than $215,000), as have all of you. ALS is a great organization that seeks to end arguably the most debilitating termal disease that any of us could imagine. You too may know someone with this horrific disease.

Please help make a difference in the fight against ALS and support me by donating at the following link:

Thank you for your kindness and generosity,

Peter
